From the logic of capital to the logic of education: The debate about education in Mercosul

The education, with the current worldwide capitalist configuration, assumes the role of dynamic element for the acceleration of the development processes, as it qualifies adequate human resources to the increasing level of international competitiveness. The process of rearticulation of the capital still has in its trends the consolidation of the regional blocs, where, MERCOSUL, for example, redefines its educational conception too. In this direction, the present study has as subject the educational question in MERCOSUL, with the objective to identify/analyze how the educational lines have being discussed in the scope of the four initial Country-Members of the bloc, in order to elucidate the conception of the education, the strategies and the proposals brought by the Education Plans, which compose the planning of the actions to the educational field.
