Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to make some reflections on the relationship between compliance with the conditionality of Bolsa Familia and economic autonomy of women holders of the program. For this, the paper addresses the following approach: a critique of the requirement of conditionality in cash transfer programs, the need to recognize the unpaid work of women in family home, the use of women's time in the administration of the conditionalities of the Bolsa family. The text also brings the discussion of a proposal to include an indicator for evaluating and monitoring the Family Grant Program for the use of women's time in unpaid work developed in the domestic family.
