This study aims at reflecting on the current crisis paradigm, a crisisof the society/nature relationship, the meaning of the right to the environment and healthy water to all living beings, in the forms of governance and management of shared water resources. The research is linked to a post-doc in Environment and Development, initiated in 2010 at the Federal University of Paraná. In particular, we analyze aspects of the world, Brazilian and state realities in their cultural representations and socio-environmental inequalities and discuss the paradox regarding water: abundance and scarcity.
