Social movements and student movement

Abstract

This paper discusses how and to what extent the group of student representative entities can be considered a social movement. To this end, we analyze some of the definitions of these social movements attempting to comprehend from its meanings the character of student mobilization and the reason why it can be considered a social movement in only given historical moments.
