Childhood and public policy: the intersectoriality as a strategy for comprehensive health care for the child

This article will deal on the issue of intersectoriality considering it as a profitable strategy in a concept of comprehensive care for the child and his family. We seek theoretical consensus point and practical challenges about the theme and relating them to our professional practice in health, specifically on child health because of our intervention as a social worker in the pediatric ward. We believe that the Constitution of 88 and the Statute of children and adolescents are legal instruments that have brought many advances in care policies. But many efforts will be released so that there is a linkage between these policies providing comprehensive care to these individuals in development.Downloads
